Important Notes
- This is a travel-heavy itinerary with several 5–7 hour drives — pace yourself.
- December nights in Kohima and Mon drop close to freezing; pack layers.
- The Dzükou trek is optional and weather dependent.
- Accommodation: Stay in carefully selected Hotels / Lodges / Homestays, subject to availability.
- Foreign Nationals: A Protected Area Permit (PAP) is required for certain destinations. The permit requires a minimum of 15 days for processing. PAP charges are not included in the package cost.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many days do I need to see Nagaland properly?
Ten days lets you combine the Hornbill Festival with both the Ao and Konyak regions. Anything shorter means choosing between the festival and the northern districts.
Is this suitable for older travellers?
Yes, with the trek dropped. The long drives are the main demand; we break them with stops and keep the pace flexible.
When should I book?
By August or September 2026 — Kohima hotels and December airfares to Dimapur both sell out early.
