- Roads to Mokokchung are mountainous; expect 6–7 hours of driving.
- Village visits are arranged with local hosts — carry small gifts if you wish, never cash.

- Foreign Nationals: A Protected Area Permit (PAP) is required for certain destinations. The permit requires a minimum of 15 days for processing. PAP charges are not included in the package cost.
