Craftscape
The crafts pavilion — weaving, woodwork, bamboo, and Naga textile traditions.
What it is
Craftscape is the crafts strand of the festival, inaugurated on 1 December 2025 at 3:00 PM alongside Hortiscape and the Handloom & Handicrafts exhibitions, and open from 10:00 AM on several later days.
Why it matters
Naga textile design is tribe-specific: a shawl is a record of clan, status and achievement, not decoration. Craftscape is where those distinctions are explained by the makers themselves — and where you can buy directly from them rather than from resellers.

Kisama Heritage Village crafts pavilions.

Anyone buying shawls, jewellery, woodwork or bamboo craft. Come early on a weekday for the best stock and the calmest conversation.
